
Charles Kaupke, Esq.
Charles focuses his practice on estate planning and business/real estate transactions, with a special emphasis on income and estate tax matters.
Charles earned his Juris Doctor from Chapman University’s Dale E. Fowler School of Law. He has a long-standing interest in the areas of estate planning and taxation. He obtained a Tax Law Certificate and served as a student extern with the Tax Appeals Assistance Program, where he represented California taxpayers in disputes with the Franchise Tax Board. Charles also authored a research paper arguing that the presumption of innocence should apply to disputes between taxpayers and the IRS.
Charles received a Merit Scholarship, was the recipient of the 2024 Tax Law Honors Scholarship, and earned the top grades in several classes, including California Evidence and Mergers & Acquisitions.
Charles obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Thomas Aquinas College. He was born and raised in Orange County and is based in our San Juan Capistrano office. His hobbies include playing the piano and guitar, weightlifting, and spending time with his wife and family.
